I love french. Un lapin is a rabbit. Un chain is a dog. Un chat is a cat. Un souris is a mouse. We learnt a story all wrote in french. It was about a teacher called Mr Nice is going on a boat ride.He meet some children then they hop aboard the boat.
Then a rabbit came aboard then cat, then dog, then sheep, then chicken, then cow, then pig, then a goat. they all messed around and the boat and they all tiped out.
I love English because at the moment we’re making booklets about Anglo- Saxons. Although first we are are doing it in draft and then do it in the booklet.I have already done three pages.The paragraphs I did were clothes, days of the week, roofs ,food and drink.I did 4 pages including the glossary.I also did an introduction.

We wrote a story about Holt and the stranger, there was a boy called Holt and a girl called Mercia.
We rewrote the story and in the story they rescued their father. I also did a quiz for homework!
In Science this term we have been learning about living things. We are learning about living things but started with if things are real or not. In the lesson we had cards and had to say if things were breathing or moving etc.
This half term in computing we have been learning about axles and cogs using Lego WeDo. We use laptops to program models and the first model we will make will be dancing birds.
We are leaning about how to say hello in are french for e.g. Bonjour means good day and salut means hello.Now we are leaning how to say animals. In French chat is cat lapin is Rabbit and cochon is pig.Then we’re going to learn about colours.
We have learned about The Anglo-Saxons through a story called Holt and the stranger. In the story Holt meets a stranger and goes with the stranger to rescue his father who he hasn’t seen for ages. His sister, Mercia follows him and the dog Seaver comes to rescue them when they get to where the father is being held. At the end they had a big feast.
This half term we are learning how to add and subtract single digits and multiple of tens from three digits numbers. Using number sentences and number lines. We have also used deanes and place value counters to help.
On Thursday we got to choose our favourite god or goddess. I picked Neptune.
In maths we were working on money.
